References to the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting or related events are made solely for descriptive purposes relating to accommodation demand in Davos.
Wefbookings.com acts exclusively as an intermediary between property owners (lessors) and tenants (lessees). The final rental agreement is concluded directly between the property owner and the tenant.
Wefbookings.com facilitates accommodation arrangements in Davos and surrounding areas, particularly during periods of major international events such as the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting.
Wefbookings.com assumes no responsibility for the condition, suitability, safety, or availability of the properties listed, as these remain under the sole responsibility of the respective property owners.
A booking is considered confirmed only when:
the rental agreement has been accepted by the tenant
the required payment has been received
written confirmation has been issued by Wefbookings.com or the property owner.
Until these conditions are met, the property remains available for booking by other parties.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
100% of the rental amount is due upon booking confirmation.
Payments must be made within the timeframe specified in the booking confirmation.
Failure to make payment within the required period may result in cancellation of the booking without further notice.
Due to the limited availability of accommodation during major events in Davos, including the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting, the following strict cancellation policy applies:
All bookings are non-refundable once confirmed.
In case of cancellation by the tenant, the full rental amount remains payable.
If the tenant fails to arrive at the property (no-show), the booking will be considered cancelled and no refund will be issued.
Exceptions may only be granted at the sole discretion of the property owner.
A refundable security deposit is required for most bookings.
The deposit amount may range between CHF 5,000 and CHF 50,000 depending on:
the property value
the rental duration
the tenant profile
the event period.
The deposit must be paid before the start of the rental period.
The deposit will be refunded after the tenant's departure and inspection of the property, provided no damages, violations, or outstanding costs are identified.
The accommodation will be handed over in a clean and proper condition.
The tenant must inspect the property upon arrival and report any defects within 24 hours of key handover.
If no complaint is made within this timeframe, the property will be considered accepted in good condition.
The tenant agrees:
to treat the property and all inventory with care
to maintain the premises in clean condition
not to cause disturbances to neighbors or surrounding residents.
House rules established by the property owner form an integral part of the rental agreement.
Unless otherwise permitted in writing:
smoking is strictly prohibited
pets are not allowed
parties and events are not permitted
the maximum occupancy limit must not be exceeded.
Outdoor shoes may be prohibited inside certain properties. Tenants must follow the rules specified by the property owner.
Violation of house rules may result in:
immediate termination of the rental agreement
eviction without refund
forfeiture of the security deposit.
The tenant is fully liable for any damage caused to the property, its inventory, furniture, equipment, or fixtures during the rental period.
This liability also applies to damages caused by:
guests
employees
representatives
contractors
or any person invited by the tenant.
All repair or replacement costs will be charged to the tenant.
When accommodation is booked by a company, organization, or agency, the booking entity assumes full responsibility for all individuals occupying the property.
The company remains liable for:
compliance with house rules
payment obligations
damages or violations occurring during the stay.
Key handover arrangements will be coordinated with the designated local property representative.
Loss of keys may result in replacement costs including full lock replacement.
Charges may amount to up to CHF 500 per key or the total cost of replacing the locking system.
During major international events in Davos, including the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting, special security measures may apply.
These may include:
restricted zones
access permits
police checkpoints
vehicle access limitations
identification requirements.
Tenants are solely responsible for obtaining and complying with any required security passes or permits.
Wefbookings.com is not responsible for any access restrictions imposed by local authorities or event organizers.
Neither Wefbookings.com nor the property owner shall be held liable for cancellations or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
natural disasters

In such cases, the property owner may cancel the rental agreement.
If the property becomes unavailable due to force majeure before the start of the rental period, payments already received may be refunded at the discretion of the property owner.

loss of personal belongings
